The Marbella Beach Club is one of the best Marriott timeshares we have stayed at. The location on the Mediterranean Sea combined with a first-class resort providing outstanding service makes this a must-stay for all Marriott Vacation Club owners.
Below are some of the highlights of the resorts:

The villas are spacious with marble and stone flooring. We traded a 1-bedroom and received a 2-bedroom. There are only 13 1-bedroom villas at the resort so trading up is possible as long as you don’t try to go during the high season in summer.

Each villa has a large tiled patio or balcony overlooking meticulously maintained grounds. The front desk has pictures of the views from each villa. We were originally slated for a 3rd floor villa overlooking the quiet pool but we opted for a ground floor unit with a partial sea view. I enjoyed looking at the sea each morning while we ate our breakfast outside.

The Marketplace was well stocked with food items and every morning they baked fresh bread and croissants. This was our first stop each morning.
There are 3 restaurants on site plus a bar. Monday night at the main restaurant, El Med, overlooking the sea, is Bar-B-Q night and they had an excellent salad bar and delicious grill items such as ribs, shrimp and fish. For entertainment, tango dancers twirled amongst the tables. This was well worth the price of 25 Euros each. Charley’s is a sports bar—perfect for those late nights when you just want to grab a light meal and go to bed after a long day of touring. We ate there a couple of nights.

There are several pool areas—indoor and outdoor—including one for families. The pools areas are beautifully landscaped. They are quite busy with sunbathers and the designated topless area was a perfect place to lie out and sun away from the crowds. We hung out there sometimes since we were the only ones sunning and I felt comfortable with my top ON.

The beach is stony and narrow by the resort. You can rent beach chairs for 5.50 Euro but they are placed quite close together and it was not the most inviting. We really enjoyed walking the beach as it goes on for miles. You can get a good walk in enjoying the sea views.
Every day we had tidy service—unusual for MVCI resorts in the USA. The beds were made up, fresh towels delivered and the garbage removed. This was a nice added touch. The head of housekeeping even called on our last day to make sure everything had gone well with our room during our stay. That was a first!

Walking distance from the resort are 3 restaurants on the beach. We really enjoyed Carlos Y Paula. I had a delicious dish of prawns in curry sauce. It was so tasty. Other guests were raving about the Paella.
The fitness center is well equipped and larger than most I have seen. I have never spent so much time working out as I did on this trip. My personal trainer would have been proud!
We had a great time staying here. I would recommend owners stay for 2 weeks since there is so many sites to see in the surrounding area and you will want to time just to relax at this fabulous resort.
